I was contacted recently by the Communications Officer at SLQ to let me know
that my book The River City (which had been on display in the ALA Showcase
from 24 February to 27 August) has been included in their publication Highlights 2023.
The image appears across the lower part of the open spread pages 32-33.
I'm also very pleased to learn that my Ten Books on Architecture will be coming out of storage
for a White Gloves Event on the 1st February, held in conjunction with SLQ's new exhibition
on architecture called Purpose Built - an exhibition I will be very interested in seeing.
The artists books available on the White Gloves day will also include a copy of Ed Ruscha's well known artists book, Every Building on the Sunset Strip. I was fortunate to see the best display I've ever seen of this book at the British Museum when I was in London in 2017. I was so impressed I wrote a blog post about it which you can find here.
